The Ainulindalë is a myth from J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, describing the creation of the universe through the music of divine beings called the Ainur. Before time, the Ainur composed a vast, harmonious melody that shaped the cosmos, reflecting their thoughts and visions. This divine music brought into existence the world, which was initially a withering, formless void. One of the Ainur, Melkor, introduced discord, causing chaos.
