The Adjuster

A claims adjuster, or simply "the adjuster," is a professional who evaluates insurance claims on behalf of an insurance company. When you file a claim, the adjuster investigates the incident, examines damages or losses, and determines the amount the insurance company should pay based on policy terms. They may visit the site of the damage, review reports, and negotiate settlement offers. Their role ensures that claims are handled accurately and fairly, balancing the interests of the policyholder and the insurer to reach a just resolution.
