The Achaeans
The Achaeans were one of the primary groups of Greek warriors and people who participated in the Trojan War, as described in Greek mythology and ancient literature like Homer's Epics. They were part of the larger Greek coalition and often called "Greeks" or "Argives" as well. In historical terms, the Achaeans are associated with Mycenaean civilization, a dominant culture in Greece during the late Bronze Age around 1600–1100 BCE. They played a central role in Greek history and myth, representing the collective identity of Greek-speaking peoples involved in the legendary conflict with Troy.
