The A-Theory of Time
The A-Theory of Time posits that time is intrinsically linked to change and the experience of past, present, and future. According to this view, events are not equally real; the present is special and holds a unique significance. Past events have occurred, while future ones are yet to come. This perspective suggests that the flow of time is objective, meaning that moments 'now’ are real and constantly moving forward. It contrasts with the B-Theory, which views all times as equally real and emphasizes a more static understanding of time as a dimension.
