Thawing Techniques

Thawing techniques are methods used to safely bring frozen foods back to a ready-to-cook or serve state. The safest method is refrigeration, where food is placed in the fridge to thaw gradually at a controlled temperature. Alternatively, you can use cold water (sealed in a bag) by submerging it, or a microwave if you plan to cook immediately afterward. These methods prevent bacteria growth that can happen when food stays in the temperature danger zone. Proper thawing ensures food remains safe and maintains its quality.
