TFT

TFT, or Thin-Film Transistor, is a type of electronic switch used mainly in display screens like TVs, monitors, and smartphones. It controls the flow of electrical signals to tiny elements called pixels, allowing images to be displayed clearly and accurately. Each pixel has its own TFT, which acts like a tiny on/off switch, enabling precise control over brightness and color. The "thin-film" part means the components are made from very flat layers of materials, making the screens lighter, thinner, and more energy-efficient. TFT technology is fundamental for producing high-quality, detailed, and fast-refreshing digital displays.
