Text Telephone

A Text Telephone, also known as a TTY or TDD, is a device that allows people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech-impaired to communicate over the phone. It enables text messages to be typed and sent directly through a telephone line. During a call, the user types messages that appear on the other person's TTY screen, and they can also read incoming messages. This technology provides a way for individuals to have real-time, two-way conversations without needing to speak aloud, ensuring accessibility and effective communication for those with hearing or speech limitations.
