Texas Government

Texas government is a state-level system responsible for making laws, enforcing rules, and managing public services within Texas. It has three branches: the executive, led by the governor who enforces laws; the legislative, composed of the Texas House and Senate, which create laws; and the judicial, including courts that interpret laws. Texas also has local governments like counties and cities that handle community issues. The state’s government balances power between these branches and levels to serve the needs of its residents, protect rights, and promote economic growth.
