tetralogy of Fallot repair

Tetralogy of Fallot repair is a surgery that corrects a congenital heart defect involving four issues: a hole between the heart's lower chambers, a narrowed pulmonary valve, muscle thickening in the right ventricle, and a misplaced aorta. During the procedure, the surgeon closes the ventricular septal defect with a patch, widens the pulmonary outflow tract to improve blood flow to the lungs, and removes muscle obstruction. This repair restores normal blood circulation, reduces symptoms like cyanosis (blue skin), and improves the child's ability to grow and develop normally.
