Tethys

Tethys is a large moon orbiting Saturn, a planet known for its many moons. It is about 1,065 kilometers (662 miles) across, making it one of Saturn’s significant moons. Tethys has a mostly icy surface with some rocky material underneath and features notable features like a gigantic canyon called Ithaca Chasma and a prominent impact crater named Odysseus. Its thick icy shell and internal structure suggest it might have a subsurface ocean of liquid water beneath the ice, making it interesting for studies of potential habitability and the dynamics of icy bodies in our solar system.
