Testudo refers to a natural phenomenon where the Moon appears to temporarily darken or dim, often called a "moon shadow" or "moon fall." It occurs when a celestial object, like a small asteroid or space debris, briefly passes between the Moon and the Sun, casting a shadow on its surface. This event typically happens during specific lunar alignments and can be observed as a subtle dark spot moving across the Moon's surface.
