Test accommodations
Test accommodations are adjustments or supports provided to students with disabilities or learning differences to ensure they have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge. These accommodations might include extended time, quiet testing environments, large print questions, or the use of assistive technology. They do not change the test's content or difficulty but help remove barriers that could unfairly affect a student's performance. The goal is to create a fair testing situation that accurately reflects what the student has learned, regardless of their individual needs.
