Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAFs)
Terminal Aerodrome Forecasts (TAFs) are specialized weather reports created for pilots and aviation professionals to predict weather conditions at airports over short periods, typically 24 to 30 hours. They provide detailed information on wind speed and direction, visibility, cloud coverage, and other factors crucial for safe flight operations. TAFs are issued four times daily and help pilots plan their routes, landing, and takeoff by offering accurate, location-specific weather expectations, especially for conditions that could affect aircraft performance or safety.
