Tercera División
The Tercera División was the fourth tier of Spanish football, serving as a developmental league below the main professional levels. It featured semi-professional and amateur clubs competing regionally across Spain. Teams aimed for promotion to higher divisions through success in their respective groups, and the league also acted as a platform for young players to gain experience. It played a key role in the hierarchical structure of Spanish football until its reorganization in 2021, when it was replaced by a new structure called Tercera División RFEF, maintaining its importance as a vital link between amateur and professional football.
