Terahertz communication
Terahertz communication uses electromagnetic waves at very high frequencies—between microwave and infrared—called terahertz waves. These waves can transmit data at extremely fast speeds over short distances, making them ideal for applications like high-resolution imaging, security scans, and future ultra-fast wireless networks. Unlike traditional Wi-Fi or 4G, terahertz signals can carry much more information but are more sensitive to obstacles and environmental conditions. Advances in technology are gradually making terahertz communication practical, promising a leap in wireless data capacity and speed for specialized uses.
