Tenzin Gyatso (Dalai Lama)

Tenzin Gyatso, known as the 14th Dalai Lama, is the spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism and a prominent global advocate for peace, compassion, and human rights. Born in 1935 in Tibet, he was recognized at a young age as the reincarnation of his predecessor. He promotes nonviolence, religious harmony, and ethical living, often speaking on the importance of inner peace and compassion. In 1959, he fled Tibet due to Chinese occupation and has since lived in India, advocating for the Tibetan people's autonomy. He is also a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, respected worldwide for his teachings and efforts to promote understanding and kindness.
