Tenodesis

Tenodesis is a surgical procedure used to treat nerve or tendon injuries, especially in the arm or hand. It involves attaching or anchoring a tendon to bone or another tissue to restore movement or stability. For example, in cases of nerve damage that cause loss of hand function, tenodesis can help by connecting tendons to enable wrist or finger movements, allowing how a person naturally grips or releases objects.
