Temporary Resident Visa

A Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) is an official document, usually stamped or glued into a passport, that allows a person to enter a country for a limited period for purposes like tourism, business, or family visits. It does not permit permanent residence or work (unless specified). The visa is issued based on meeting certain criteria, demonstrating ties to home country, and providing necessary documentation. It ensures the visitor complies with the country’s entry conditions and can stay only for the authorized duration. Once the visit period ends, the traveler must leave or apply for another stay if eligible.
