Temporary Media

Temporary media refers to short-term storage or transfer of digital data, often used during processes like content editing, file sharing, or software updates. Examples include cache files, temporary internet files, or session data that exist only for a limited time to facilitate a task. Once the purpose is completed or the system is restarted, this data is usually deleted automatically. Temporary media helps improve performance and efficiency by quickly holding information needed temporarily, but it isn’t meant for long-term storage or permanent data retention.
