Temporal Parity

Temporal Parity is a concept in the study of causality that suggests events are not inherently privileged in time; meaning that there is no preferred direction from past to future in the fundamental laws of physics. In simpler terms, this means the processes governing events would be the same whether they occur forwards or backwards in time. In such a framework, distinctions we make between cause and effect can become ambiguous, raising questions about how we perceive time, sequence, and the very nature of reality itself.
