Templar Church
The Templar Church, often associated with the Knights Templar, refers to the religious and military order founded in the 12th century during the Crusades. Originally created to protect pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land, the Templars became known for their distinctive white mantles adorned with a red cross. They operated a network of fortifications and financial services, becoming wealthy and powerful. Their influence waned in the 14th century when King Philip IV of France, fearing their power, arrested many Templars. The order was disbanded by the Pope in 1312, leading to enduring myths and legends surrounding their legacy.
