Tell el-Kahf
Tell el-Kahf is an archaeological site in Jordan believed to be linked to the "Cave of the Seven Sleepers," a story from Christian and Islamic traditions. The site contains ancient ruins dating back to the Roman and Byzantine periods, including churches and underground structures. While some associate it with the biblical and Quranic narratives of young believers who slept in a cave for centuries to escape persecution, there is no definitive archaeological evidence confirming this story. Instead, the site provides valuable insight into the history and architecture of the region during late antiquity.
