Television transmitters

Television transmitters are powerful electronic devices that send TV signals over the airwaves to be received by TV antennas. They convert broadcast signals into radio waves, which carry audio, video, and data information across distances. The transmitter is usually located on tall towers or high structures to maximize coverage. When a TV antenna picks up these radio waves, it decodes them back into the familiar images and sounds seen and heard on the TV screen. Essentially, transmitters are the link that delivers TV programs from the broadcaster to viewers' homes wirelessly.
