Telescope Array Project
The Telescope Array Project is an international scientific effort to study ultra-high-energy cosmic rays—extremely powerful particles from space that hit Earth's atmosphere. Using a combination of large surface detectors and advanced telescopes, it observes the particle showers these rays create when they collide with air molecules. By analyzing these events, scientists aim to understand the origins and nature of these rare, high-energy particles, shedding light on some of the most energetic processes in the universe. The project is based in Utah and helps unravel the mysteries of cosmic phenomena beyond our galaxy.
