Teleconverter
A teleconverter is a small optical device that attaches between your camera and lens to increase the lens’s focal length. Essentially, it acts like a zoom extender, making distant subjects appear closer and larger in your photos. For example, with a 2x teleconverter, a 100mm lens becomes effectively a 200mm lens. This allows for more detailed images of faraway objects without needing a larger, heavier lens. However, teleconverters can slightly reduce image sharpness and light entering the camera, so they are best used with high-quality lenses and in good lighting conditions.
