Technological Readiness Levels (TRL)
Technological Readiness Levels (TRL) are a way to measure how mature a new technology or innovation is. They range from 1 to 9: TRL 1 is the earliest stage, where basic ideas are being studied; TRL 9 is the point where the technology is fully developed, tested, and ready for widespread use. This system helps organizations assess progress, allocate resources, and determine when a technology can be reliably implemented. TRLs provide a standardized way to communicate the development stage of a technology across industries and projects.
