Teatro Luna

Teatro Luna is a Chicago-based theater company founded in 2001 that focuses on amplifying the voices of women, especially women of diverse backgrounds. Through original plays, performances, and community engagement, they explore issues related to gender, identity, and social justice. Their work often challenges stereotypes and highlights the experiences of Latinx women and other marginalized groups, fostering understanding and dialogue. Teatro Luna aims to create a space where women’s stories are heard and celebrated, using performance art as a tool for empowerment and social change.
