Tea planting
Tea planting involves selecting suitable land with proper soil and climate conditions, such as well-drained, slightly acidic soil and moderate rainfall. Seeds or young plants are carefully cultivated, often in nurseries, then transplanted to the field. The plants are maintained through practices like pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to promote healthy growth. Tea bushes generally take 3-5 years to produce leaves suitable for harvesting. Regular plucking occurs to harvest the tender, new leaves, which are processed into tea. The quality and yield depend on choosing the right variety, managing growth, and adapting to environmental conditions.
