Tea Plantation
A tea plantation is a large farm dedicated to growing and cultivating tea plants, primarily Camellia sinensis, for harvesting leaves used to produce tea. These plantations are typically located in regions with suitable climates—cool, misty, and with adequate rainfall. Skilled workers pluck the tender young leaves and buds by hand, which are then processed through various steps like withering, rolling, oxidation, and drying to produce different types of tea, such as green, black, or oolong. Tea plantations play a vital role in local economies, providing employment and contributing to global tea production.
