TDT (Televisión Digital Terrestre)

Televisión Digital Terrestre (TDT) is a technology for transmitting TV signals via digital signals through terrestrial (land-based) broadcast towers. Unlike traditional analog TV, TDT offers clearer picture and sound quality, more channels, and additional features such as electronic programming guides and interactive services. It uses digital compression to efficiently utilize the broadcast spectrum, allowing viewers to receive high-definition content with a compatible TV or set-top box. TDT is a government-driven transition from analog to digital TV, improving viewing experience and freeing up radio spectrum for other uses.
