TDR System

The TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) system is a technique used to locate faults or defects along electrical cables and fibers. It works by sending a short electrical pulse down the wire; if there’s a break, corrosion, or a change in the cable's material, part of the pulse reflects back to the source. By measuring the time it takes for the reflection to return, technicians can determine the exact location and nature of issues within the cable without needing to disconnect or physically inspect the entire length. This makes troubleshooting faster, more accurate, and less invasive.
