TCSEC

The TCSEC, or Trusted Computer System Evaluation Criteria, is a set of standards developed in the 1980s to assess the security level of computer systems. It categorizes systems based on their ability to protect data and control access, ranging from minimal security to highly secure systems used in government and military operations. Essentially, it helps organizations understand how well a system safeguards sensitive information and guides the development or selection of secure computing environments.
