TCA
TCA, or Tricarboxylic Acid cycle (also called the Krebs cycle), is a fundamental process in your body's cells that generates energy. It occurs in the mitochondria, the cell's power plants, where nutrients like carbohydrates, fats, and proteins are broken down. During this cycle, these nutrients are transformed into energy molecules called ATP, as well as carbon dioxide, which you exhale. Essentially, TCA is a central hub that helps your body efficiently produce the energy needed to keep all your organs and tissues functioning smoothly.
