TBox and ABox
TBox and ABox are components of knowledge representation in ontologies. The TBox (Terminological Box) defines the structure and vocabulary—like concepts and relationships—similar to a schema or blueprint. It specifies what kinds of things exist and how they relate. The ABox (Assertional Box), on the other hand, contains specific facts or instances about these concepts—such as individual objects and their properties—like data entered into a database. Together, they help organize and reason about complex information systematically, with the TBox providing the framework and the ABox filling it with actual data.
