Tattvavada (Madhvacharya's Tattvavada)
Tattvavada, the philosophy of Madhvacharya, asserts that there are ultimately six real entities in the universe: God (Vishnu), individual souls (jivas), and matter (prakriti), among others. It emphasizes that God is the supreme, independent reality, and everything else depends on Him. Unlike other schools, Tattvavada sees the divine as distinct and separate from creation, highlighting a dualistic relationship. This philosophy advocates devotion to Vishnu, believing that salvation is achieved through grace and proper knowledge, recognizing the eternal difference between the divine and all else, and emphasizing moral righteousness and faith as key to spiritual liberation.
