task force on 21st century policing

The Task Force on 21st Century Policing was established to improve police-community relations and ensure fair and effective law enforcement. It analyzed current policing practices and recommended strategies across six areas: building trust through transparency, technology use, fair and equitable policing, injury prevention, officer wellness, and community engagement. Its goal is to enhance safety, reduce crime, and promote cooperation between police and communities by adopting best practices that respect rights and foster cooperation.
