Tanga Region is located in northern Tanzania, bordering the Indian Ocean and neighboring regions like Kilimanjaro and Morogoro. It features a diverse landscape, including coastal plains, fertile valleys, and parts of the Usambara Mountains. Historically, Tanga has been an important trading hub, especially during the German and British colonial periods.
