Tanegashima Space Center
Tanegashima Space Center, located in Japan, is the country’s main launch facility for space missions. Operated by JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), it features a large launch pad, a control center, and facilities for assembling and testing rockets. Since its establishment in the 1960s, it has launched satellites, cargo, and scientific missions into space, notably using the H-II and Epsilon rockets. The center is strategically positioned to provide safe and efficient launches, contributing significantly to Japan’s space exploration and satellite deployment efforts. It also serves as a hub for technological innovation and international collaboration in space activities.
