Tandy Corporation was an American company founded in 1919 that originally focused on hardware and electrical supplies. Over time, it evolved into a major retailer, best known for its chain of electronics stores called RadioShack, which sold gadgets, electronic components, and hobbyist equipment. Tandy also manufactured personal computers like the TRS-80, one of the early home computers during the 1970s and 1980s.
