Tammy Duckworth

Tammy Duckworth is a U.S. Senator from Illinois, serving since 2017. She is a member of the Democratic Party and is known for her work on veterans' issues, healthcare, and disability rights. A retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, she lost her legs and partial use of her right arm in Iraq while serving as a helicopter pilot.
