Tami flu
Tami flu is a medication used to treat influenza (the flu), helping to reduce the severity and duration of symptoms. It works by inhibiting an enzyme called neuraminidase, which the flu virus needs to spread within the body. When taken early in the infection, usually within 48 hours of symptoms starting, Tami flu can shorten illness and lower the risk of complications. It is typically prescribed for certain patients at higher risk of flu-related complications or for severe cases. As with all medications, it’s important to follow a healthcare provider’s instructions and be aware of possible side effects.
