Tamerlane
Tamerlane, also known as Timur, was a 14th-century Central Asian conqueror who established a vast empire across parts of modern-day Iran, Iraq, Turkey, and India. He was born in what is now Uzbekistan and rose to power by uniting various tribes. Tamerlane is renowned for his military prowess and brutal campaigns, often using psychological warfare to instill fear. His empire, though relatively short-lived, significantly influenced the regions he conquered, fostering cultural and architectural developments. Despite his reputation for violence, he is also remembered for his patronage of the arts and contributions to Islamic culture.
