Tamerlan Tsarnaev was a man of Chechen origin who became known for his involvement in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. Born in Kyrgyzstan and of Chechen descent, he later moved to the United States. Influenced by extremist ideology, he and his brother planned and executed a terrorist attack, killing three people and injuring hundreds. Tamerlan was killed during a police confrontation shortly after the bombing.
