Tamazight language
Tamazight is a Berber language spoken by the Amazigh people across North Africa, particularly in Morocco, Algeria, and Libya. It belongs to the Afro-Asiatic language family and has several dialects. Tamazight uses its own alphabet (Tifinagh) and also employs Latin and Arabic scripts. The language has a rich cultural history, serving as a key part of Amazigh identity and heritage. In recent years, efforts have been made to promote and standardize Tamazight, recognizing it as an official language in countries like Morocco, alongside Arabic.
