Talaq (divorce)

Talaq is a traditional Islamic procedure for divorce, where a Muslim man can end his marriage by pronouncing the word "talaq" (meaning "I divorce you") typically in a specific manner. The process often involves a waiting period ('iddah') during which reconciliation is possible.
