Takeoff is the phase of flight where an aircraft accelerates along the runway until it reaches a speed sufficient for the wings to generate enough lift, allowing the plane to become airborne. This process involves the pilot increasing engine power, monitoring instruments, and maintaining proper alignment. Once the necessary speed, known as V1, is reached, the pilot commands the nose to lift at the appropriate speed called Vr, enabling the aircraft to ascend into the sky. Takeoff is a critical transition from ground to flight that requires precise control and coordination.
