Tajik people

The Tajik people are an ethnic group primarily found in Tajikistan, Central Asia, with smaller populations in neighboring countries. They speak Tajik, a variety of Persian, and share cultural traditions rooted in Persian history and Islamic religion. Historically influenced by Persian, Arab, Soviet, and other regional cultures, Tajiks have a rich heritage of poetry, music, and craftsmanship. They are primarily Sunni Muslims and have a society that values family, community, and cultural pride.
