Tail Rotor
The tail rotor is a small rotor mounted on the tail of a helicopter, crucial for controlling its direction. As the main rotor spins and generates lift, it also produces torque that wants to spin the helicopter's fuselage in the opposite direction. The tail rotor counters this torque, allowing the pilot to steer the helicopter left or right by adjusting its pitch. Without the tail rotor, the helicopter would spin uncontrollably. It provides yaw control, ensuring stability and precise maneuvering during flight.
