T wave inversion

T wave inversion is a change seen on an electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) that indicates the heart’s electrical activity during recovery after each heartbeat. Normally, the T wave points upwards, but when inverted, it points downward. This can signal various things, such as reduced blood flow to the heart muscle, heart strain, or other heart conditions. While sometimes it’s harmless, it can also be a sign of underlying issues that require medical evaluation to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.
