T-cell Receptor Therapy
T-cell receptor (TCR) therapy is an advanced immunotherapy that enhances the body's natural ability to fight cancer. It involves collecting a patient's T-cells, which are immune cells, and modifying them in the lab so they can better recognize and attack cancer cells by targeting specific proteins, known as antigens, on the cancer. These engineered T-cells are then infused back into the patient, helping the immune system to identify and destroy tumors more effectively. TCR therapy offers a personalized approach for cancers that may not respond to traditional treatments and aims to provide a targeted, immune-based solution.
